Hello,I purchased an apartment on a complex comprising 24 apartments.I learned after about one years occupation that a committee must be formed under the Turkish community laws.The man who maintains the complex is the builders best freind and the builder gave him the position of maintenance.After a further year we (the majority of the owners)were dissatisfied with the maintenance mans performance and so made moves to get other maintenance contractors, at which time the builder formed a committee in the absence of the foreign owners so as to safeguard his freinds position.Most of these owners did not have their Tapu at this time because of changing legislation. Now we have our Tapu how do we elect a new committee that is representative of the owners.Thanking you in anticipation. Michael

Dear Sir,

At first, we need to know whether quorum requirement of the Committee while making those decisions is satisfied or not. If it is satisfied, there must be some extra-ordinary situations in order to ask form the Court to intervene in the issue for an extra-ordinary election or an injunction.
