Help needed!

Hello!
My husband got in a fight with a Turkish man (He is also turkish). The man has sued him and my husband got invitation to court next week. Im terrified now, what kind of protacol normally there is in situations like this. I know my husband hit him as he was assaulting verbally him and me. I think he is going to claim some money. How much normally is paid? Im 8 months pregnant and we are flying to give birth to my country in few weeks, are these kind of cases settled in one time?

I'm not an expert in the field of criminal proceedings, but I'm just here to say that you and your husband should mention at the court that said person had verbally assaulted you. This constitutes unjust provocation and if you can prove it or convince the judge, it will serve as commutation for the final verdict (his penalty will be reduced).
