Separation

My cousin (British)and her Turkish husband both living in Turkey are separated and will divorce but the husband owes my cousin a lot of money so she will not sign the divorce papers until he gives her this money. He has ensured no assets are registered in his name or in a bank account and he is not working so it is impossible to regain the money. He is trying to force her to sign the papers and is threatening violence. She suspects he wants to remarry quickly to his new girlfriend. He claims he has no money but is always out spending and is planning to leave the country. Is there anyway she can get her money back and can she stop him leaving the country?

Before involving either a divorce or separation case there is no way that your cousin can gt her money back.
