Tapu but no Iskam to get water and Electric

Hi guys,

We have a problem, we were told to come to Turkey because our property was finished - 0f which it was, just about.
They asked for final payment, which we honoured.

The Tapu was not issued to us until 12 months later, but the problem we have now is that the Agent/Builder has disappeared (due to matrimonial problems).

We have a temporary water connection and electric is via the builders connection at the top of the road which every two months gets cut off because the bill goes to the agent/builders address and subsequently does not get paid.

Apparently, our solicitor informs us we do not have an iskam to proceed with getting permanent connections to both the water and electric.
Additionally most of the companies files from the office that they were trading from have been "lost".

How can we get this iskam?

The agent/builder that disappeared is called Turkish Homes based in Altinkum/Didim and was a very successful business and was the largest tax payer in the town (as detailed in the local paper which is what gave us the confidence to proceed).

The relevant authority that you have to apply is the local government/city-hall. If I were you I would ask for an appointment in order to tell the current situation.
