Bankruptcy
What are the personal and real property exemptions in a bankruptcy or lawsuit in Turkey? What of the person's cannot be touched? Thank you

In view of the relevant provisions of the Turkish Enforcement and Bankruptcy Act, in case the bankruptcy proocedings are opened, all seizable property of the debtor forms the bankrupt's assets.
However there are some exceptions cited below: --- Assets which are not eligible to be seized as stipulated by the said Act such as : -sole house of the bankrupt, - equipment and other stuff required for the maintenance of occupation, -personal belongings such as kitchenware, necessary furniture, -pensions and bereavement benefits... ---Bankrupt's remuneration paid for the services rendered after the insolvency ----mortgages ; pledges belong to third persons ----compensation claims regarding the personal injuries |
