Police Procedure
if a person is arrested at the scene of a road accident where a person is killed can they be imprisoned immediatly by the public prosecutor or are they released and then called back for a trial. what is the police procedure.

he shall be caught and detained for trial by the police upon the public prosecutor's order or in urgent cases by the police themselves.In the latter case the police detention shall be informed both to public prosecutor and the relevant relatives.A counsel shall also be appointed for his defence.
The detainee shall be taken before the court for the reviewing of the treatment and necessity for a detention order in the shortest term.This period is normally 24 hours from the date of arrest. |
