The bottom line is whether the severity of the disease makes the marriage unbearable or not.After the groom is tested and examined by doctors' ,you can be hundred percent sure.For example according to Turkish civil code, mental disease is a bar to marriage but if it can be proved by doctor's certificate that it does not make marriage unbearable then there is no bar for marriage.
