I am an US citizin living in Istanbul with my Turkish fiance. I entered Turkey on a Tourist Visa and would like to know what I need to do to get a residence visa. Do I have to go back to the US, like a work visa? Should I just get another Tourist visa for another 3 months. Also, when we get married in a couple of months, do I automatically obtain working rights in Turkey or do I have to apply for a working visa like foriegn nationals married to US citizens have to do to work in America?
