I am about to start the application procedure to acquire a Turkish driver's license. A Turkish friend told me that I will be refused because I am slightly color blind. Is this true?
What is the procedure for determining color blindness? Who decides if it would hinder safe driving? (I see all colors but have trouble distinguising between green and red, unlike my brtoher who pretty much only sees grey tones)

Dear Bob,
According to the 5 th Article (Paragraph (7) of “The By-law Regarding Sanitary Requirements and Medical Examinations of Learner Drivers” which has been published in the Turkish Official Gazette dated September 26,2006 and numbered 26301,
the people who have color blindness, may be driver without requiring any condition.
