Hello,

In Turkish Law System there is no seperation as "lawyers" or "legal
advisors" as you've mentioned. The profession is established in Turkish
Lawyers Act (which has changed dramatically very recently) and
according to this Act there is only one profession, that is "being a
lawyer". (Older act was same as far as this subject is concerned) Giving
advices in legal matters is privilaged to Lawyers as well according to the
same act thereby there is no discussion about this subject in Turkish Law
System.

However similar discussion was made a few years ago in Turkey for
another concept: "Competition Experts". Another act related to
competition law established such a profession which clashed with Lawyers
act and therefore Lawyers got upset by this legal arrangement and defied
it with no avail. This discussion is over for sometime and seems forgotten.

Hope this helps..
