Varsayılan Turkish traffic law

Thank you for your reply on such short notice.

Our insured was driving on a primary road, passing a small village every now and then. In one of those villages he passed an intersection when a car coming from the right crashed into our insured. The car from the right claims priority stating that when there are no signs, traffic from the right has right of way (=priority). Our insured states that in Turkey traffic that comes from secundairy roads that lead to a residential area has to give priority to traffic following primary roads, even tough there are no signs. In short, a big street beats a small street.

Our insured also states that a week later another accident took place on the same intersection, and that the police found the car coming from the right liable for that accident.

Thank you in advance for your reply.
