i spent nearly 5 hours on turkish law sites today trying to find information on marriage laws! i came onto this site and found almost all my answers from one lady!!!! i still have one remaining question though!! i am hoping to marry my turkish fiance in november of this year (05), i now understand the formalities of the law on how we do this, and when and how to apply for the visa but my concern now is that we have never lived together as a couple for more than 2 weeks at a time. i have stayed at his family home, with his mother and father, for a total of 3 weeks. and with him at the resort where we met for a total of 6 weeks prior to that, although we have been together for almost a year now. can anyone tell me if this is going to cause a problem with getting married or gaining his visa? i cannot stay in turkey for much longer than this each visit as i have a 6 year old daughter, although she does live with her father, i cant not see her! please help!!!
