I have heard that there is going to be a new law passed that will mean that a foreign person will only be able to buy property on a leasehold basis in a non-belediye area. Is this true? If so do you know the thinking behind this. In previous years foreigners weren't allowed to buy property and land in non-belediye areas, then the law changed and this became permissable. Now it seems that the government is back peddling?
