I am an American who married a Turkish citizen in Turkey. I am living in Florida and my husband is living in Kocalie. My husband and I got into an argument and I told him, in anger, that I wanted a divorce. I have not spoke with him since, he will not talk to me. There has been no communication between us for almost 3 weeks. I have tried, but unsuccessful. If he should grant my wish, can he do it without me present? Is there an anullment process in Turkey? What is required to obtain one, both anullment and divorce? I really would like to reconcile, how would I go about doing that?
