i married a turkish citizen in may 2001.we married in the uk.we registered our marriage in turkey officially in july 2003 and were told we would have to wait 3 years before i could have my kimlik.after this period of time i was denied my kimlik.

why was this so?

By law am i entitled to a kimlik?

in september 2007 we did divorce in both countries,however i still reside in turkey and need to know if i have the right to a kimlik?
