I wanted to give additional information to that of those have already been given.As far as ý am concerned The statute of frauds enacted for the purpose of ensuring some specifically cited contracts to be concluded in written form.However in the Turkish law system there is no such law except turkish law of obligations.In the articles of this code, for example the promise of donation contract should be concluded in a written form.Plus ,in specific laws this obligation is laid down(for example leasing law )
