I am a dual US/ Turkish citizen, divorced from a Turk and with Custody of our 12 year old child. Are my child and I obligated to stay in Turkey until the child reaches 18? Are there any circumstances under which we would be allowed to leave without my ex husband's permission? I am feeling like a hostage!
